Angie’s List is an online directory of service providers that allows users to read and publish crowd-sourced reviews of local business and contractors. Angie’s List offers multiple marketing and advertising services for service professionals. Angie's List is growing and looking to add Sales Solution Consultants to our team. To join this elite team, you will need to show a proven record of sales success, along with a desire to grow not only your career within a company but also your income. We need strong competitors who can engage and sell Angie’s List marketing products and services to highly-qualified service providers.

The Job:

Research SPID using previous internal notes, company website, and other public information
Identify and prepare value proposition for SPID based on research
Contact SPIDs and reconfirm key points discussed with previous team members when applicable
Set appropriate expectations regarding goals for sales call
Discuss AL value proposition, products, and adverting option
Guide SPIDs through background check authorization and approval process
Build and present proposals based on SPID needs. Handle objections as needed
Determine best closing method based on SPID preferences
Engage closing partner to assist with closing as needed
Guide SPID through the contracting process and resolve issues related to contract management
Requirements:

1+ years of inside sales or call center experience preferred - Advertising Sales experience is a plus!
Knowlege of sales best practices and sales metrics; and the ability to complete the entire sales process over the phone is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective prioritization and time management skills
Strong initiative to strive for continuous accuracy, quality, and timeliness of information
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment
High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
Able to provide proof you are at least 21 years of age
In addition, you'll need to be able to:

Work in a fast-paced, high-energy sales center environment without being distracted (music played throughout the day)
Sit or stand for an 8-hour shift
Hear and talk on a phone head/handset for up to 8 hours per day
Successfully pass a criminal background check
Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
